With gratitude and respect

As I wind down my time here at Oberson I can’t begin to express how absolutely amazing the people here have been. From the incredibly gifted Alexandra to “The Man” Daniel all the way across the board to Louis, Yannick, and everyone in between, my experience here has been one of kindness, trust, and support.

While I wasn’t with them for a long time, everyone (and I do mean everyone) at Oberson made it a point to make me feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected. From day one I felt like I belonged, like I was one of the family… and like the classy organization that they are, they also adopted and supported Zoé even though she worked for a direct competitor just across the street. Nothing but class.

An ethical retailer that’s as committed to taking care of their faithful customers as they are loyal to their dedicated staff, I could not have transitioned to a better employer after leaving my previous job. Never for a moment did I ever second-guess my move to Oberson. From the get-go, it felt like the right thing to do. My only regret was that I didn’t do it sooner, ah the things we could have done together!

It’s with a surprisingly heavy heart that I write this little blurb, that I say a great big thank you to the Oberson team that took me in and allowed me to feel valued again. And so now, as I take the next step in my career, it isn’t without pride that I’ll soon get to say, like so many in our business, that I too am an Oberson Alum.
